I am a Social Worker and offer therapy to help you and your loved ones resolve inner struggles. I use Cognitve Behaviroal Therapy as well as EMDR to help you process life events. I also sometimes bring Tessa the therapy dog who likes to help as well.

I am passionate about working with individuals from all walks of life to help them achieve their goals and live their happiest life. I believe in the power of self-awareness and hope to be a resource to my clients by helping them to solve problems, increase self-knowledge, and promote personal growth. I desire to help individuals who have suffered from past and present traumas. I truly enjoy working with couples and families to bring peace and love into relationships.
I work with adolescents and adults using Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, (EMDR) to help individuals who have suffered from trauma and negative beliefs about themselves.
I love to provide therapy services and watch as individuals discover more about themselves and find healing from past and present wounds.

"EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. Repeated studies show that by using EMDR therapy people can experience the benefits of psychotherapy that once took years to make a difference. It is widely assumed that severe emotional pain requires a long time to heal. EMDR therapy shows that the mind can in fact heal from psychological trauma much as the body recovers from physical trauma. When you cut your hand, your body works to close the wound. If a foreign object or repeated injury irritates the wound, it festers and causes pain. Once the block is removed, healing resumes. EMDR therapy demonstrates that a similar sequence of events occurs with mental processes. The brain’s information processing system naturally moves toward mental health. If the system is blocked or imbalanced by the impact of a disturbing event, the emotional wound festers and can cause intense suffering. Once the block is removed, healing resumes. Get the Most out of Life
EMDR has been known to work with people who are experiencing PTSD. However, I believe that EMDR is useful for everyone. We all have negative beliefs that we have about ourselves which have usually been imbedded in our lives from a very early age. The more that we can learn about how things in our life have affected us, the healthier we can be. Sometimes we don't realize how much events in our life have shaped us but EMDR can help us process and put the pieces together. I believe that if we get "Check ups" for our physical health we should do the same for our mental health. Whether it's me or someone else, it's always good to try out a therapist and see if you can learn more about yourself.
